HERE ARE THE POLICY DETAILS THAT ARTESIAN FOLLOWED:
ARTESIAN welcomes contributions from visionary and
intuitive artists and creators,as well as from anyone
interested in the sources, processes, images and writings
that may emerge from upwelling creativity.
ARTESIAN welcomes contributions from all visionary
and intuitive artists and creators, and interested
writers, poets, thinkers and dreamers, regardless
of ethnic background, race, gender, sexuality, class,
age, mental or physical well-being, disability or
learning difficulties.
IMAGES AND PICTURES
ARTESIAN welcomes images that reflect the processes
of upwelling creativity, ie.images that seem to spring
spontaneously from the imagination, from oneΉs own
inner or spiritual source, or from a deep or intuitive
source. We welcome images that express inner worlds,
feelings, journeys, discoveries, dreams, or any images
that symbolise or represent one's own personal inner
vision.
The Editors reserve the privilege to decide which
images to accept based on their own evaluation and
on the ethos of the magazine.
FORMAT:
Send up to 8 images for consideration, preferably
photographic prints or good quality laser copies,
no larger than A4 size. We also accept slides.
Please also enclose
up to 100 words of author biography/words about your
art work and, if possible,
an image (drawing, painting or photo of sculpture)
of your INNER SELF
(No photographic self-portraits!)
WRITTEN CONTRIBUTIONS
ARTESIAN
welcomes written contributions arising out of, or
about, upwelling creativity with emphasis on the visual
arts. Possible topics include the following:

processes of upwelling creativity
-
origins or sources of upwelling creativity
-
development of one's own creative life
- creative
work and life of individual visionary artist(s)/creator(s)
-
poems, short stories, reflections related to upwelling
creativity and the
visual arts
-
relation of upwelling creativity to spirituality
- personal
experience of upwelling creativity; reflections
on one's own
spiritual journey, experience of self-discovery
and/or growth of spiritual awareness;
-
reviews of exhibitions, books, magazines, visionary
gardens/environments etc
-
interviews with visionary artists/creators
-
ideas/suggestions/news about collaborative/group
projects
- information
on related organisations, centres, web sites, groups,
projects etc
FORMAT: Up to 2000 words, preferably
typed and supplied as hard copy
(or on floppy disk, following a recommended format
(eg WordPerfect)). Where appropriate, to be accompanied
by a max of 8 images, from which the editors
can
select those that can be reproduced most clearly.
Also enclose up to 100 words of author biography and,
if possible,

ADDITIONAL
POINTS OF EDITORIAL POLICY
- ARTESIAN
will acknowledge all work submitted to the Editorial
Board, but cannot guarantee to publish submitted
work nor can ARTESIAN offer a fee for work submitted.
- All
published contributions will be archived, while
ARTESIAN may be able to offer space in the Archive
for other, non-included works, to be negotiated
with the artist/contributor on an individual basis.

The views expressed by contributors to ARTESIAN
do not necessarily reflect the views of the Editorial
Board and ARTESIAN does not accept responsibility
for these views.

The Editors reserve the privilege to edit submitted
work if they regard this as appropriate, but will
endeavour to check any alterations with the author
before publication.

When submitting work for consideration by ARTESIAN,
contributors should enclose two 1st or 2nd class
stamps, plus a sae for returns of work, where appropriate.
