ARTIST'S STATEMENT

My name is Chris and to tell you the truth I have never really thought of myself as an artist, however, I have always appreciated art. Since I began meditating with holosinc and subconscious feelings began to resurface, my creativity has improved. Most of my work is experimental and made of card cuttings. I have never really thought of it as representing anything in particular I just find the flow of shapes and colours aesthetically pleasing. The work is simple and startling. I suppose it could represent the flow of life energy within trying to emerge through the darkness on my inner journey. As my meditation progresses new insights into self will create new ideas and inspiration leading to more intricate work. As for now I am quite happy with what I created.
