BIG CHANGES AT ARTESIAN ARTS!

We ran out of money to keep the Gallery going, and we had to close it down. Sadly.
Judith has moved from Edinburgh to London to help look after her elderly parents.
The Magazine is on hold until our energies and funds become vivaceous again!

WE WILL LET YOU KNOW WHEN ARTESIAN COMES BACK TO LIFE!

OUT OF THE ASHES: CREATIVE RESPONSES TO 11.9.01 AND SUBSEQUENT EVENTS
9-29th May at Patriothall, Hamilton Place, Edinburgh.
In the wake of the events of 11th September 2001, many people, including those who do not think of themselves as artists or writers, have turned to poetry and art to express their deep feelings. As part of the Arte Gras Festival in May 2002, ARTESIAN held an exhibition of work that arose out of the ashes of the World Trade Centre, and the "War on Terrorism".

The exhibition included improvised drama and poetry with Lee Gershuny, Founder and Artistic Director of The Elements' "Theatre of Being", and Findhorn Playback Theatre.

In comments from the Visitors' Book the most frequently used adjectives were: Moving, Powerful, Intense.
