ARTISTS STATEMENT

I was born in Los Angeles, California in 1965, but lived in Columbus, Ohio, most of my life. My artwork is influenced by my past experiences working as a military police officer, working in the social/mental health field, and from my thoughts/opinions about the social, political, and religious subject matters and issues. I had the rare opportunity to see and experience things most Americans only see on television and in newspapers that affected me so much, my objective is to challenge my audience with the images I create - so they might question their thoughts and opinions for peace.
